Frequently Asked Questions

Seminars, payment, programme documentation and the Destination Thailand Visa.

Who is Discover Thai Nature?

We organise seminars in Thailand. Our researchers are passionate about Thai botany, agriculture, food and culture, and several team members graduated from Kasetsart University.

What is the goal of Discover Thai Nature?

We spread awareness of Thailand’s agricultural heritage, botanical diversity and cultural relationship with nature—from rice and tropical fruits to sustainable farming and traditional knowledge.

Do I have to pay multiple times?

No. The package covers the complete one-year programme according to the published schedule.

Do you offer a visa agency service?

No. We are a seminar provider, not a visa agency. We explain the programme documents we issue, while the application remains the applicant’s responsibility.

How can I contact you?

Email contact@discoverthainature.com, use the contact page, or reach LINE Official at @discoverthainature.

What are the seminars about?

Thai fruits, vegetables, culinary and medicinal herbs, cosmetics, extraction techniques, flower crafts, Thai food and seasonal farm experiences.

What is the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV)?

The DTV is intended for remote workers and people participating in eligible Thai soft-power activities. It is generally a multiple-entry visa with stays of up to 180 days per entry, subject to current rules.

What programme documents do you issue?

For the one-year DTV package: an enrolment letter, class schedule, company-registration documentation, and receipt/payment confirmation.

Which documents does the applicant usually need?

Typically a valid passport, recent passport photo, proof of location, visa-fee payment and financial proof of at least 500,000 THB or the equivalent. Exact requirements vary.

Is DTV approval guaranteed?

No. Approval is solely at the discretion of the responsible Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate-General.

Do you offer a refund after a soft-power rejection?

The programme offers an 80% refund of the seminar fee for a rejection specifically related to the soft-power activity, subject to the applicable terms.

What does “soft power” mean?

Cultural activities that communicate what makes Thailand distinctive, including sport, culinary traditions, botanical knowledge and other cultural learning.

How long can I stay and is the DTV multiple-entry?

It is generally multiple-entry, with stays of up to 180 days per entry. Extension rules are determined by Thai immigration authorities.

How much money must I show?

Applicants are generally asked to show at least 500,000 THB or the equivalent. Statement periods depend on the embassy.

How much does the DTV cost?

Fees vary by country and consulate. Check the official website of the responsible embassy.

How long does processing take?

Commonly at least five business days, and longer if additional documents are requested or demand is high.

Can I apply from a third country?

This depends on embassy jurisdiction and local-residency rules. The official Thai e‑Visa system identifies the responsible embassy.

Can I work in Thailand on a DTV?

The DTV does not provide general permission for local employment. Verify permitted activities with official Thai authorities.

Visa requirements can change. Always verify current rules with the responsible Royal Thai Embassy, Consulate or official Thai e‑Visa website.
